This is the story behind the new single "Take These Chains from Me" by Robbie Walden.

This is a personal song and testimony written by Robbie, as he reflects on the pain and trauma he endured throughout his life. From the childhood abuse, which led to his being adopted, coupled with the pain and heart ache of his time in war, being shot, and losing teammates to both the war and suicide, and how he persevered, Jesus Christ.

Shelving, and running away from these problems for many years, he blamed God. Using touring as a means of escape and to ignore the trauma all together. Eventually, he was left with no choice but to confront the Lord. Crying out to the Lord, "Take These Chains from Me", Robbie gave his life to Jesus Christ! Not only did he realize his need for a savior, but in the process, the Lord walked him through it all, restored his faith, mind and heart, a beautiful story of healing and redemption, completely transforming Robbie into a "new creation" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

This incredibly raw and real encounter with Jesus Christ, has flipped his world upside down! So much so, Robbie left the country music life all together, to go full time into ministry, where instead of playing bars, casinos and theaters around the country so that people could make bad decisions partying to his gifts, he now preaches and teaches through testimony, sermons and music as an evangelist hoping to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that people could make great decisions to his gifts and talents! With two goals in mind, obeying "The Great Commission", and having a heart for Jesus. Which means, just as is said of Jesus in Luke 19:10, Robbie is in the world to seek and save that which is lost. People!
